Trevor Haynes
President & Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Haynes is a founding shareholder of Black Diamond Group and has been President and CEO since its inception in 2003, providing the vision and strategy to guide the dynamic growth of the Company. Mr. Haynes has over 20 years of leadership experience in the workforce accommodation and modular structure industry in North America and internationally. In addition, Mr. Haynes has been involved in the launch and building of a number of successful energy services and construction companies. Mr. Haynes currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Petroleum Services Association of Canada and is Chairman and Director for Frontier Acquisition Corp.  He is also the Co-founder and Director of CF Construction Services and sits on the board for NCSG Services Inc. and the Fig Tree Foundation. Mr. Haynes holds a B.A. from the University of Toronto.

Michael Burnyeat
Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Burnyeat joined Black Diamond in May 2006. Before that, Mr. Burnyeat held various senior financial positions at private and public companies including Renfrew Insurance Ltd., Digital Oilfield Inc., AT&T Canada and Canadian Pacific Limited. Mr. Burnyeat holds a B. Comm. from the University of Alberta. He is also a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Alberta and a Charterholder of the CFA Institute.

Steven Stein
Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer

Mr. Stein was a founding shareholder, and has been an officer and director of the company since its inception. He is currently focused on a number of strategic, growth-related initiatives for Black Diamond. From 1990 until 2005, Mr. Stein was actively involved in the operations of the Outland Group, and its predecessor companies, of which he was a founder. Mr. Stein holds a B.A. (Honours) from Queens University.

Harry Klukas
Executive Vice President, International

Mr. Klukas has over 25 years experience in the modular building industry. He has held senior roles, including President of a multinational modular building company and Chief Operating Officer of an equipment distribution company. Mr. Klukas has been involved in all aspects of the industry and is familiar with domestic and international markets.  He has been involved in operations and projects on every continent, and entered markets through greenfields or acquisition strategies.  Mr. Klukas has a B.Comm. degree from the University of Calgary.

Paul de Rosenroll
Senior Vice President, Corporate Services & HSE

Mr. de Rosenroll’s focus is to integrate all aspects of daily operations into Black Diamond’s business enterprise management system. He is also focused on continual improvement of the company’s HS & E initiatives. Mr. de Rosenroll has over 22 years of modular building industry experience in Project Management and Contract Administration. Prior to joining Black Diamond in 2006, Mr. de Rosenroll was Contract Manager for William Scotsman. From 1987 to 2002 he held various positions within ATCO Structures Inc. Mr. de Rosenroll has a B.A (Special) from the University of Alberta.

 

Glen Clark
Senior Vice President Commercial Development

Mr. Clark joined Black Diamond in 2003 as Vice President of Sales with a focus of building the company’s remote workforce housing division. Prior to joining Black Diamond, Mr. Clark was previously employed in sales management with ATCO Structures and PTI Group Inc. With 20 years of industry experience, Mr. Clarks focus is to provide executive leadership supporting all Black Diamond divisions in pursuing new business opportunities in both Canada and the US. 

 

Troy Cleland
Senior Vice President, Partnerships and Acquisitions

Mr. Cleland joined Black Diamond as the Vice President of BOXX Modular in 2005 and achieved great success growing the Company’s space rentals and mobile storage business through asset acquisitions and organic growth. Mr. Cleland is responsible for overseeing continued growth of the organization as a whole. Before joining the Company, he was Branch Manager, Vancouver for ATCO Structures Inc. Mr. Cleland holds a BBA in Finance from Gonzaga University in Washington State.

 

Keith Swenson
Division Vice President, BOXX Modular

Based in Denver Colorado, Mr. Swenson is responsible for managing the BOXX Modular division across North America. Mr. Swenson joined Black Diamond in January 2009 and was previously a Senior VP for GE Capital Modular Space for North America. With over 30 years of experience in the oil and gas and commercial modular industries, Mr. Swenson will lead the growth initiatives across the platform and is a valuable member of the Black Diamond executive team.

 

Michael Klukus
Division Vice President, Camps

Mr. Klukus has been with Black Diamond since 2008 and has held a number of senior positions within the company including Division Administration Manager and General Manager for the Camps and Logistics Division. In his role as Division Vice President, Camps, Mr. Klukus is responsible for developing and implementing business strategy, measuring operational performance and driving financial results for Black Diamond’s remote accommodation division.

Toby LaBrie
Vice President Finance & Controller

Mr. Labrie joined Black Diamond as the Corporate Controller in 2009. Prior to Black Diamond, he held the position of Team Lead –Management Reporting & Budgeting at First Calgary Petroleums. Previously, Mr. Labrie held positions in the audit as well as the financial advisory group with Deloitte and has been a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Alberta since 2005. Mr. Labrie holds a BComm. from the University of Alberta.
