Mr. Butler has over 40 years of oil and gas industry experience. He has served as officer and director of private and public companies operating in Western Canada, as well as in the Arctic Islands, the Atlantic Shelf, the US, Turkey, Colombia and Argentina. Mr. Butler is currently also a director of Avenir Diversified Income Trust, Mahalo Energy Ltd. Since 1982, he has operated Passport Petroleums Ltd., a private company. Mr. Butler holds a B.Comm and a B.A. & Sc. from the University of Saskatchewan.

Robert G. Brawn
Member: Compensation, Nomination and Governance Committee
Mr. Brawn has over 50 years of oil and gas industry experience. He is also a director of Alberta Treasury Branches, Parkland Industries Ltd, and Penn West Energy Trust. He is Chairman and Director of Grande Cache Coal Corporation and several other private corporations. Mr. Brawn holds a B.Sc. (Eng) from the University of Alberta.

William Gallacher
Chair: Compensation, Nominating and Governance Committee
Mr. Gallacher is an entrepreneur who has been involved with the start-up of a number of energy companies, including Maxim Power Corp., Avenir Diversified Income Trust, Mahalo Energy Ltd, RedStar Oil & Gas Inc. and Essential Energy Services Trust. Mr. Gallacher is currently President and CEO of Avenir Capital Corporation, a private equity firm. Mr. Gallacher holds a B.Sc. (Eng) from the University of British Columbia.

Minaz Kassam,
Chair: Audit Committee
Mr. Kassam is a Senior Partner with Kassam Chartered Accountancy LLP and has been a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Alberta for over 15 years. He has served on the Board of Directors of a number of public and private issuers. Mr. Kassam holds a B. of Comm. from the University of Calgary.

Robert Wagemakers

Member: Compensation, Nominating and Governance Committee
Mr. Wagemakers has over 32 years experience in the oil and gas sector. He is currently Vice President, Marketing with Nabors Drilling, a division of Nabors Canada. Before that, he was VP, Operations with Command Drilling Corporation. He held the position of President of Partner Rentals Ltd. from 1997 to 2000. Leading up to that role, he held management positions with a number of drilling companies.

Fred D. Davidson
Corporate Secretary
Mr. Davidson is a Partner with Burnet, Duckworth & Palmer LLP. His practice focuses on corporate and securities law: public offerings, private placements, corporate reorganizations, reactivations, reverse takeovers, mergers and acquisitions. He has a BA (Honours) from York University and a LLB from the University of Alberta. Mr. Davidson was called to the Alberta bar in 1995.
